Spirited Miracles

Over the past two days, I have launched two new fanlistings for anime/manga characters.

Yesterday, Miracle was added to the collective. It is the fanlisting for Ruka Tsuchiya of the anime and manga series Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena) by Chiho Saito. The current layout has tight tables, with a soft orange and peach color scheme. It features two extensively edited anime screencaps of Ruka, in contrasting moods: one smiling and the other pensive/serious and juxtaposed with one another.

Today, I launched the fanlisting for Gon Freecss of Yoshihiro Togashi's anime and manga series Hunter X Hunter, Spirited. The current spread features two portraits of the young hero, designed in shades of forest and mint green. Version title and lyrics appearing on the layout are from the song Sweet Child O' Mine.

Faithless Beauty

My latest anime fanlisting is Faithless, for the relationship between Hisoka and Illumi Zaoldyeck of Yoshihiro Togashi's anime and manga series Hunter X Hunter.

The current layout is essentially earthy, with shades of black, brown and red. Design features blended single and joint images of these two beautiful, dangerous Hunters. Inspiration is the song Alive by the band X Japan, from their album Vanishing Vision.

Invincible Powerpuff

After owning the domain InvincibleNU for more than three years, I finally launched it as my fansite collective, where I will feature series, titles, characters and media that I love. The first version's design is named Orenji, inspired by ethereal artwork and done in light oranges and blues.

My first site in this collective is Townsville, lovingly created on Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls show, containing series and merchandise information as well as web goodies. The current layout showcases Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup in a pink tables spread and has lyrics from the song Girl Power by the female duo Shampoo.

A Ferocious Hound

I am so happy to announce the launch of Ferocious, the long-overdue fanlisting for the character Sandor Clegane, nicknamed "The Hound," of the HBO television show Game of Thrones and George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire.

I am quite proud of my digital work on the site's current layout. The design features a promotional image of Rory McCann as Sandor for the third season of Game of Thrones, juxtaposed with the sigil of House Clegane (three black hounds on yellow) and Sandor in his Hound armor during the show's very first episode.

Eternal Revolution

The network hails the month of August 2017 with two new anime fanlistings added to the fold!

Revolution is the fanlisting for Chiho Saito's groundbreaking anime series Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena). Current layout has the series' main and most recurring supporting characters in a group portrait, hence the version title of Family Portrait, against a backdrop of maroon, pink and rose-red.

Our second addition is Eternally, the fanlisting for Arina Tanemura's mahou shoujo (magical girl) manga series Jikuu Ihoujin Kyouko (Time Stranger Kyoko). Current layout features the series' main character, Earth Nation's Princess Kyoko Soumi, holding her Time Stranger cane from a manga furuko (extras). Version title is named Tapestry, from the design's aged textures and soft colors of pink, peach and lavender.

The Shutter Ladybug

Let us give a very warm welcome to The Shutter Ladybug! This is my photography blog, where I am going to post various photos I have taken over the years and all over the world. I will also share online and offline resources I deem useful and interesting to hobby shutterbugs like myself.

To take pictures, I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH2 digital camera, 14 megapixels and smaller than some smartphones. I am interested in subjects of all sorts and capture beautiful moments as they come. I have been trained as a photojournalist and marketer, and possess experience as a professional in traditional and web-based media.

I finally got around to launching this blog on 3rd August 2017, more than a year after I initially purchased the domain. I love ladybirds, or ladybugs, and wanted a bit of wordplay in merging this gorgeous little animal with the term "shutterbug" (which generally refers to a photography enthusiast).

An Ilongga Blog

I am very happy to announce the opening of Ilongga.net, my blog on the Philippines, Filipinos and "Pinoy" popular culture. Ilongga is the female grammatical ascription of a native of Iloilo, the Philippine province where I was born and raised.

I have long since wanted to make a website on the Philippines and all its cultural nuances. What is so interesting is that there are a lot of Filipinos like myself living outside the country; most of us in this category are migrant workers (OFWs or Overseas Filipino Workers). I wanted to capture the overall Pinoy spirit from this international, expatriate perspective. What's more, I dearly wished to showcase my beautiful hometown, Iloilo City, in particular. I finally got around to launching this blog on 2nd August 2017, two months after I decided to buckle down and purchase a domain for my web brainchild. As luck would have it, Ilongga.net was available at the time.

Ilongga.net is also available on your favorite social media channels and sharing networks. We have Pinterest Boards and a Tumblelog. You can also follow us on FaceBook, Instagram and Twitter.

Girl on the Web

Let's all give a very geeky welcome to Girl on the Web, Shi's blog on web resources and trends for geeky girl bosses like herself.

I have been building websites since 1999 and started blogging two years on. After so many years of being online, I wanted a place where I can write about and share the knowledge and experiences gained from my various web forays. In short, my own corner of the blogosphere where I can totally "geek it out"! The domain was purchased on 28 July 2016, but the site went live only on 31st July this year.
